The company been at the forefront of embracing e-commerce as an organisational model.  The George, the latest hotel opened by the Group, is in fact built around e-commerce both with regards to attracting clients to the hotel as well as with regards to the dynamic pricing model it applies.

Vassallo Group has recently decided to replicate the success of the e-commerce business model at The George across other business sectors within the Group. 

In this regard Vassallo Group is targeting the launch of an e-market of Vassallo Group’s products, services and goods by early 2012.

Vassallo Group is recognisant of the fact that in today’s world ICT and business strategies, goals and objectives are fused – and over time will only become increasingly more so – and that the Group can only successfully continue to its competitive edge if it places that Management of Information and the leveraging of ICT for corporate performance, efficiency, efficacy and economic gains at the core of its decision making process.

To ensure that this is achieved, this year, Vassallo Group concluded an Information Systems Strategic review. 

As an outcome of this review Vassallo Group will over the coming months embark on the implementation of various initiatives directed to strengthen and consolidated its back-office applications as well as strengthen its collaborative and knowledge based capacity.
