Annual Chairman’s Lunch Organized

The annual Chairman’s lunch organized by Vassallo Group was held at the Casino Maltese.

Mr Nazzareno Vassallo, Chairman of Vassallo Group hosted this event which has now become a traditional occasion. The Group will be celebrating its 70 years this year. The guest of Honor was His Grace the Archbishop of Malta, Mons Charles J. Scicluna. Other dignitaries included the Speaker of the House Hon. Anglu Farrugia, the Minister for Finance Profs. Edward Scicluna and the Minister for Sustainable Development, the Environment and Climate Change, Hon. Leo Brincat.

In his welcoming speech, Mr Nazzareno Vassallo briefed all the guests on the direction that the Group will be taking for the years to come. “What had started out in 1946 as a modest enterprise clearing up the post war debris, has now grown into a multifaceted family of promising businesses offering a wide spectrum of services. Next year we shall be commemorating the 70th year of Vassallo Group and I am eagerly looking forward to the launch of more new ventures within this organization,” said Mr Vassallo.

Some 150 guests which included employees forming part of the various companies within Vassallo Group and major stakeholders attended this lavish lunch and were later presented with a commemorative gift and the company’s yearly publication of the Akati Magazine by the Group’s Chairman.
