The last pour of concrete was celebrated during a “topping out ceremony” on the new roof of the new Casa Arkati extention to mark the end of construction phase of the project, complete with a few nibbles and a few words from the Group Chairman Mr Nazzareno Vassallo. The Group Directors, Bank Representatives and all employees working on the project were invited for the event. The topping out ceremony is a tradition at Vassallo Builders Ltd, commemorating the moment in this project which started off in September 2013. In a few weeks time, Casa Arkati will soon be able to take up to 80 residents who will enjoy additional active ageing services. The whole project designed by the Group Architect Ruben Vassallo is expected to cost €2.6 million.
