Over 60 employees from various sectors of Vassallo Group volunteered to aid in a number of projects being carried out at San Blas in Zebbug, one of the rehabilitation centres run by Caritas.
Helpers were split into teams were each group was assigned different duties. Works carried out included construction, maintenance, IT, cleaning and our Chairman cooking lunch for everyone with the help of a few volunteers.
With everyone’s input the teams managed to finish the tasks by noon, just in time to gather around for a well-deserved lunch. Mr Vassallo thanked everyone for their time and explained the three types of pasta he prepared with the help of his team.
The event turned out to be a huge success, thanks to everyone who gave a helping hand.
